The University of Macerata has signed an agreement with CIMEA (Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence), the official Italian centre of the ENIC/NARIC network, to launch services for students holding foreign qualifications recognized in Italy.

This initiative aims to enhance the qualification assessment process, facilitating the submission of documents for admission to study programs while reducing processing times and the required documents.

As part of the service called DiploMe, CIMEA will issue a Statement of Verification and a Statement of Comparability.

The DiploMe service is in addition to the one available for candidates holding qualifications from one of the 55 countries signing the Lisbon Convention, who can download a Statement of Correspondence from the ARDI platform.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The Statement of Correspondence is issued through the ARDI platform and is available only for those holding a qualification awarded in one of the 55 countries signing the Lisbon Convention.
  • The Statement of Correspondence (issued through the ARDI platform), together with the Statement of Verification ((issued through the CIMEA DiploMe platform), replaces the CIMEA Statement of Comparability (issued through the CIMEA DiploMe platform).
  • The Statement of Correspondence and the Statement of Comparability will be accepted as an alternative to the “Dichiarazione di Valore” (Declaration of Value) issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate located in the country where the qualification was awarded, in compliance with current national regulations and procedures.
  • Both the Statement of Correspondence (issued through the ARDI platform) and the Statement of Comparability (issued through the CIMEA DiploMe platform) must be paired with the Statement of Verification (issued through the CIMEA DiploMe platform).
  • The Statement of Correspondence/Comparability/Verification or the Declaration of Value or the Diploma Supplement (for master’s degree applicants) are optional upon pre-admission but must be submitted to the University upon enrolment*.
