The University of Macerata and the European University Viadrina have launched a new Double Degree program

A new double master’s degree program in International Relations, curriculum International Economic Relations/IER (UniMC) and International Business Administration (European University Viadrina) has been launched!


The University of Macerata enriches its double degree programs thanks to the agreement with the Viadrina European University of Frankfurt.

A new international opportunity for students of the master’s degree program in International Relations (LM-52) curriculum International Economic Relations/IER: the University of Macerata and the European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany have launched a new double degree program since a.y. 2024/2025.

First-year students of the master’s degree program in International Relations (LM-52) curriculum International Economic Relations/IER can apply for this double degree opportunity to spend the second year of their studies in Germany, in Frankfurt am Oder, a splendid city near Berlin, in a University with cosmopolitan vibes.

European University Viadrina is a Frankfurt (Oder) university in Brandenburg, Germany. It is also known as the University of Frankfurt. The city is on the Oder River, which marks the border between Germany and Poland. Since its reestablishment in 1991, Viadrina has strictly adhered to its concept of bringing young people together from every corner of the world. This concept has proven to be successful: Viadrina has grown to become a lively, highly regarded member of the community of German and European universities. European University Viadrina comprises of three faculties: Economics and Business Studies; Law; and Cultural Studies.

Selected students can apply for the Erasmus+ Study scholarship to enjoy the mobility grant to spend the second year at the European University Viadrina.
At the end of the double degree program, students will obtain, in addition to the UniMC Master’s Degree in International Relations, a Master’s Degree in International Business Administration issued by European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder).
