Grants for foreign and Italian citizens living abroad awarded by the Italian Government, a.y. 2025/2026

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers grants to foreign citizens and Italian citizens living abroad (IRE) for the Academic Year 2025-2026 to foster international cooperation in cultural, scientific, and technological fields, promote Italian language and culture, and support Italy’s economic system in the world.

MAECI grants are offered to complete study, research and/or training programmes at public or legally recognised Italian educational institutions.

MAECI grants are compatible exclusively with the onsite attendance of academic courses in Italian territory.
